Chevy's Silverado

With a Silverado, you cannot dispense with silver chrome-finish; the more, the better to justify its signature name.

Chevrolet Corvette Z06

The Corvette C8 Z06 was on the cover of Car and Driver of Nov/2022 edition as per the following extract:-

The paraphrased verdict of the C8 Z06 is resounding: it drives like a ferocious beast of sports car on a race track, but can transform seamlessly into a grand-touring cruiser for you to drive cross-country comfortably; makes you wanna put on a racing helmet and feel like Tony Stark in an Iron Man suit.

According to Wikipedia, these are the generations of Z06:

Chevrolet Corvette C2 Z06 (1963)
Chevrolet Corvette C5 Z06 (2001-2004)
Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06 (2006-2013)
Chevrolet Corvette C7 Z06 (2014-2019)
Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06 (2023-)

Hot Wheels and Matchbox in Local Supermarket

Unlike in some countries where Hot Wheels are usually found in supermarkets, it is not the case in Singapore. Over here, you could find them in toy stores, children stores, gift shops and collectibles hives.

Recently, I saw a few racks of Hot Wheels in an NTUC Fairprice Xtra outlet, which consists of a supermarket as its mainstay plus a limited range of other goods like electrical appliances, bedding stuffs, clothing, stationery, toys, crockery, cutlery, utensils and travel luggage.

While those few displays of rudimentary cars were nothing to shout about, it was nevertheless a welcome sight for anyone who has an eye for diecast cars.

Within the month though, I was pleasantly surprised that the inventory of cars has been expanded to include more Hot Wheels and other makes such as Matchbox and I am more than happy to be able to collect the following:

Set of '23 Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5 + Aero Lift

MBX European Highways:
1) 2007 Audi R8
2) 2011 Mini Countryman
3) DS 21 Pallas
4) Range Rover Evoque
5) Scania P 360

Blue Highways II:
1) 1963 Austin Healey Roadster
2) 1957 Ford Thunderbird
3) '16 Chevy Camaro Convertible'
4) 1956 Aston Martin DBR1
5) '56 Jaguar Xk140 Roadster
